Overview

MediaTek LinkIt™ ONE development platform enables you to design and prototype Wearable and Internet of Things (IoT) devices, using hardware and an API that are similar to those offered for Arduino boards.

LinkIt™ ONE

The LinkIt ONE development kit includes a development board, a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth antenna, GSM (2G) antenna and GPS/GLONASS antenna as well as a Li-battery. Using the included quick start guide you can be up and running with your proof-of-concepts in no time.


You can then add Grove sensors or any peripherals compatible with the extensive pin and interface standards supported by the board.

AWS IoT Starter Kit

This kit offers the LinkIt ONE development board, battery and antennas found in the kit from Seeed Studio, with addition of a range of Grove sensors.


Combined with the LinkIt ONE SDK, mbed TSL library for LinkIt ONE and tools from Amazon; with this kit you can quickly create proof-of-concept Wearable and IoT devices that take advantage of AWS IoT cloud services.

Chipset

MT2502A

The hardware core for LinkIt ONE development platform is MediaTek MT2502A.


The MediaTek MT2502A is a feature-rich and extremely powerful single-chip solution for high-end GSM/GPRS (2G) capabilities. It also features a highly integrated Bluetooth transceiver which is fully compliant with Bluetooth specification v4.0.


This chipset also works with our Wi-Fi(MT5931) and GNSS(MT3332) chips, offering high performance and low power consumption for Wearable and IoT devices.

SDK

The LinkIt ONE SDK (for Arduino) is a plug-in for Arduino IDE. It offers a robust yet flexible way to test and prototype ideas for Wearable and IoT devices on the LinkIt ONE development board.
